<p>New Moon (marketed as The Twilight Saga: New Moon) is a 2009 American romantic fantasy film. It is based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer and is the sequel to 2008's Twilight, which is based on Meyer's previous novel. Summit Entertainment greenlit the sequel in late November 2008, following the early triumph of Twilight. Directed by Chris Weitz, themovie stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. Melissa Rosenberg, who handed in a draft of the film script during the opening weekend of Twilight, returns as the screenwriter for the second installment as well.</p>

<p>* Don Cheadle as Lt. Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes / War Machine: Cheadle is replacing Terrence Howard from the first movie. Howard said, "There was no reason, apparently the contracts that we write and sign aren't as good as the paper that they're written on, now and then. Deals aren't kept, and good faith discussions aren't always held up." Entertainment Weekly said Favreau did notenjoy working with Howard, often reshooting and cutting his scenes; Howard's publicist said he had a fine experience playing the role, while Marvel chose not to comment. As Favreau and Theroux decided to lessen the role, Marvel came to Howard to discuss lowering his salary - Howard was the first artist hired in Iron Man and earned the biggest salary of the cast. The publicationcommented they were unsure whether Howard's council left the project first or if Marvel decided to discontinue negotiating. Theroux denied the part of the report stating "the role of War Machine was scaled back and then p
umped up". Cheadle just had a few hours toaccept the part and were not aware which storyline Rhodes would undertake.He stated he is a comic book fan, but felt there are not enough black superheroes.</p>
